Established by the American Associate of Landscape Architects April is World Landscape Architecture Month (WLAM).  This international month-long event celebrates architecture design of public and private spaces.

Landscape Architecture is a multi-disciplinary field that takes time to incorporate aspects of horticulture, civil engineering, soil sciences, urban design, botany, and more. It is a broad profession that combines art and science, applying natural and built elements to shape landscapes for best human use.
